Job summary

A prominent HR services company in Singapore is seeking a HR Assistant to manage various HR functions. You will handle payroll processing, support work pass applications for foreign workers, assist in job postings, and perform general administrative duties. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in HR Management or Business studies and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, along with attention to detail and time management skills.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in handling payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
  • Able to work under pressure and complete tasks within deadlines.

Job description
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in full spectrum of HR functions.
  • Process MOM work passes applications, renewals, and cancellation matters for foreign workers.
  • Assist in Job posting / advertisement.
  • Handles new workers on-boarding process including preparation of employment contracts and briefings.
  • Process necessary authorized claims; government paid maternity leave, childcare leave reimbursement and income tax submissions (IR21), NS men claims, etc.
  • Updating and maintaining proper HR database and records.
  • Performs general HR administrative duties such as PPE stock monitoring, safety & training course bookings, etc.
  • Provides front reception duties; handling incoming calls & sorting out of incoming documents, etc.
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing payroll for twice in a month.
  • Liaise with site personnel for the project timesheets submission to payroll.
  • Track and ensure the accuracy of daily attendance, overtime submission, leave records and monthly payroll deductions.
  • Handle queries from employees on payroll related matters.
  • Prepare payroll information for monthly CPF submission.
  • Provide final salary information for IR21 submission for non-local employees.
  • Handle work injury (WICA) related matter.
  • Provide general administrative support as assigned by your superior.
Requirements:
  1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Business studies / HR Management.
  2. 1 - 2 years’ experience in handling payroll processing.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
  4. Able to work under pressure and complete the task within the deadline.
  5. Meticulous and willing to learn.
