Job summary

A seafood company in Singapore seeks an experienced HR professional to manage the full HR spectrum, including work pass administration, recruitment, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has a diploma in HR or related fields and at least 2 years of HR experience, along with strong knowledge of Singapore's employment legislation. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Overview

Job Description

Managing the full HR spectrums to support the day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation, and medical arrangements.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and onboarding and offboarding for below executive levels.
  • Administer payroll processing via Quick HR payroll system.
  • Management and administration of HR-related training and employment government grants
  • Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims and subsidies e.g., CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21) matters etc.
  • Management of Employee Engagement and welfare activities
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements / filing due dates for HR-related statutory forms.
  • Handle staff discipline issues and employment related issues and provide HR advice to managers.
  • Update and maintain employment records, training records and work pass matters.
  • Administer employee confirmations, benefits and leaves, medical and insurance claims.
  • Suggest improvements on existing HR policies and framework to support and resolve existing challenges.

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in HR function
  • Possess strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM, CPF, IRAS, and other relevant statutory legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Possess a positive attitude to learn and grow with the company.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
