Job description

We are seeking an experienced dynamic result-oriented HR Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR tasks together with one experienced colleague including day-to-day HR operations recruitment employee engagement policy review compensation and benefits and vendor management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to collaborate across departments and organizations within a global functional organization to foster a positive and productive work environment that supports the strategy for business growth.

Responsibilities
  • In a team of 2 serve as local HR responsible for two legal entities and a number of representative offices in the region. Implement and execute policies and initiatives. Translate strategic HR needs into local activities in close collaboration with the local management and the global HR organization of the group.
  • Play an active role within the global HR community and actively participate in global / regional HR initiatives and projects.
  • Advise local employees and management safeguard local necessities and requirements in order to enable and support the organization.
  • Cover the full spectrum of HR work including recruitment employee retention employee engagement training & development performance management compensation & benefits policy development and overseeing monthly payroll.
  • HR Strategy and Operations : Translate global HR strategy and develop and implement local HR policies procedures and programs to enhance employee engagement.
  • Collaborate on and promote change management and drive local initiatives.
  • Talent Management : Oversee recruitment activities. Lead People Review and Development initiatives ensure succession pipeline to strengthen core competencies and align with business needs and strategic priorities.
  • Performance and Training : Manage the organizations performance management process and develop the annual Training Plan.
  • HR Systems and Reporting : Maintain and manage HR information systems to meet evolving needs including regular HR reporting FTE planning and budgeting. Ensure consistency and compliance in all HR related topics.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration Human Resources Management or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable HR role with a strong background in HR Operations
  • A professional certification e.g. as Human Resource Professional (IHRP) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices organizational diagnosis employee and union relations diversity performance management and local employment laws.
  • Solid understanding of Asian labor law is preferred.
  • Team player with good communication collaboration and problem-solving skills used to work in Matrix environment.
  • Proven ability to translate and execute HR strategies in Matrix
  • Having good business acumen and decent understanding of larger organization. Proven track record to influence engage and convince stakeholders at all levels and has a passion for employee engagement.
  • Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Able to work independently with excellence analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with varied HR information systems and office software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
