Job summary

A leading industrial services provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the team and daily operations of HR and Payroll. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in managing HR functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, and employee relations. This role involves problem-solving, policy application, and ensuring smooth operation for a large blue-collar workforce. The position offers a 5-day work week with competitive working hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR and Payroll operations.
  • Oversee recruitment and orientation processes.
  • Handle payroll processing and administration.
  • Conduct training and on-the-job training (OJT).
  • Address disciplinary and termination processes.
  • Update and revise policies as needed.
  • Manage accommodation and living maintenance for employees.
  • Handle work pass matters and business licensing.
  • Coordinate mandatory external audits and surveys.

Job description

Managing a team of HR and Payroll personnel, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of people relationship, problem solving and policy application for resolutions.

The scope of functions extends to managing of a large, blue-collared workforce, including but not limited to:

  • Recruitment and Orientation
  • Payroll processing
  • Training and OJT
  • Disciplinary & termination
  • Personnel administration eg leave, grievances etc
  • Policy revision and updates
  • Accommodation and living maintenance
  • Work pass matters
  • Business licensing renewal
  • Mandatory external audits and surveys

To qualify, the applicant must possess

  • A relevant diploma education
  • At least 3 continuous years' experience in HR and Payroll Management
  • Exposure in managing a large workforce
  • Keenness to work in a fast-paced environment

Working hours: 5-day week, 9am-6pm
