Job summary

A leading instrumentation company in Singapore is seeking a motivated HR Manager to manage full-cycle hiring, employee relations, compliance with employment laws, and oversee training and development programs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, with 5-10 years of HR experience, including leadership. Bilingual in English/Mandarin is preferred. This role supports a diverse workforce and enhances employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive local HR experience, with at least 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Capability to inspire and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle hiring of local and foreign personnel, creating job descriptions.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and promote employee engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to local labour laws and develop company policies.
  • Oversee performance reviews and skill development programs.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Coordinate health, safety, and wellness programs.

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full‑cycle hiring of local and foreign personnel, creating job descriptions, and integrating new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and promote employee engagement.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to local labour / employment laws, develop company policies, and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Training & Development: Oversee performance reviews, skill development programs, and succession planning.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs, often conducting market surveys.
  • Safety & Wellness: Coordinate health, safety, and wellness programs alongside HR functions.
  • Manage company's diverse mix of nationalities to be compliant under MOM Compass Point System.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive local HR experience, with at least 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
