Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and dynamics HR Head to lead our HR functions in a fast-paced, customer -centric environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture across our stores and corporate office.

Human Resources support
  • Collaborate with line managers to project future skills demand and supply.
  • Advise line managers on resources planning options.
  • Promote company values to all level of employees.
  • Manage labour relations to achieve work harmony and progress towards organisational goals.
  • Plan and execute communication activities using the appropriate channels/tools for targeted audience.
  • Develop positive working relationships with people through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Liaise with employees to evaluate effectiveness of organisation development and change interventions.
  • Develop communication for HR programs/activities to convey desired messages clearly and effectively to the targeted audience.
  • Support line managers in drafting and issuing employment contracts, considering all relevant statutory terms and benefits.
  • Communicate with employees on areas such as benefits and claims eligibility and administration, payroll deductions, retirement, re-employment and termination guidelines.
  • Adopt a service-oriented mindset and people-centric in dealing with workforce and business stakeholders.
  • Manage internal stakeholders beyond the team and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Strategic HR Leadership
  • Develop and execute HR strategies to support business growth operational efficiency.
  • Partner with senior management to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
  • Oversee recruitment for all levels, including store staff and corporate roles.
  • Implement effective workforce planning to meet seasonal and operational demands.
Performance Management
  • Drive performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers.
  • Identify training needs and oversee learning and development initiatives.
Succession Planning and Execution

Compensation and Benefits
  • Manage payroll processes and ensure competitive compensation structures.
  • Review and update benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Reporting
  • Ensure all documents properly filed and updated.
  • Prepare monthly manpower headcount report with analysis.
  • Prepare quarterly / monthly reporting as required by business unit
Compliance and Policy Management
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage and execute statutory requirements for all Foreign Workers’ employment and HR related matters.
  • Ensure timely reporting and payment for payroll, IRAS, Tax clearance, Work Pass renewal etc.
  • Research and apply prevailing labour policies, employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to tripartism, employment laws for foreign nationals, Fair Consideration Framework.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures and HR Handbook.
Training and Development
  • Responsible for planning, developing, and executing training programmes that support operational excellence, employee capability growth, and organizational development. This role oversees the full training lifecycle, ensuring training quality, consistency, and alignment with company standards, SOPs, and business goals.
Others
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong background in compensation and benefits.
  • Having experience in F&B or retail industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Travel for business needs, if required.
