The Human Resource Executive (HRE) will serve as a key member of the hotel's Human Resources team, acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team while supporting the day-to-day HR operations. The HRE will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, providing expert HR guidance to management and employees, and ensuring the successful execution of HR strategies across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand business goals and objectives and align HR strategies to support these goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement.
Employee Relations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee performance management.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and resolving employee concerns in a timely and fair manner.
Performance Management
  • Lead the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback is provided to employees.
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement individual development plans (IDPs) that align with career aspirations and organizational goals.
Compliance & HR Policy
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Singapore's HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s values and objectives.
HR Metrics & Reporting
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and provide reports to management on key HR metrics.
  • Monitor and report on workforce planning, turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and other HR metrics.
Culture & Employee Engagement
  • Promote and sustain a positive organizational culture that supports the hotel's mission and values.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
Qualifications
  • Professional Certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferably 1 year of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and reporting.
