Job summary

A leading cooking studio in Singapore is seeking an HR professional to manage recruitment activities, oversee payroll processing, and handle employee life cycle tasks. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in payroll and recruitment in Singapore, with strong communication skills and a good understanding of employment legislation.

  • Handle onboarding/offboarding activities and confirmations.
  • Process monthly Payroll and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Recruitment - Manage recruitment activities including job postings, screening and scheduling and conducting interviews for both local & foreign candidates.
  • Employee Life Cycle - Handle onboarding and offboarding activities. Handle staff confirmation, contract renewal, promotion etc.
  • Compensation and Benefits - Process monthly Payroll and CPF. Track staff leave, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Handle yearly tax submission and ad hoc tax clearance for foreign employees.
  • Performance Management - Track and follow up on confirmation appraisal. Handle yearly performance appraisal exercise.
  • Other Matters - Maintaining employee database. Handle work-pass related matter, including application, renewal, issuance and cancellation. Liaise with government agencies on required submission such as MOM Labour Survey, Absentee Payroll, etc. Prepare HR reports for monthly meetings.
Requirements
  • Have at least 1 year experience for payroll processing and recruitment for Singapore
  • Skilled in using Quick HR system for payroll
  • Possesses a pleasant personality and good communication skill
  • Be resourceful, self-motivated, well organized and meticulous for details
  • Familiar with MOM Employment Legislation
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of Employment Act, CPF and IRAS tax
