Job description
Responsibilities
  • Participate in manpower planning by providing input on requirements, statutory obligations and projected manpower costing.
  • Deliver HR services efficiently, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer leave, benefits, insurance, payroll, work passes and government surveys accurately and on time.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, contract renewals, salary reviews, resignations and terminations.
  • Monitor headcount movements, prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee data.
  • Oversee offboarding activities, including exit interviews and clearance procedures.
  • Review and update HR policies in response to Employment Act or regulatory changes.
  • Facilitate performance appraisal, salary review and bonus exercises to ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Support and execute ad-hoc HR projects as required.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Recruitment
  • Source and attract qualified candidates using cost-effective channels including job portals, agencies, referrals, internships and databases.
  • Screen, interview, assess and verify applicants to ensure shortlisted candidates meet role requirements.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions to reflect current business needs and work arrangements.
  • Build and sustain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles to minimize hiring lead time.
  • Obtain approvals for salary proposals, prepare employment contracts and coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Ensure personnel documents are properly filed and maintained in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare employee CVs and provide information required for tender submissions and security clearances.
  • Liaise with educational institutions on internships and collaborative programs such as Work-Learn Technical Diploma.
Learning & Development (L&D)
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop annual training plans.
  • Organize and facilitate internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain training records and Job Training Matrix in compliance with SOPs.
