Responsibilities
- Manage the flow and organization of safety management documentation across the company.
- Conduct document quality checks per company’s procedures in an ISO-certified environment and identify compliance issues.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and correspondence by functional departments.
- Monitor HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) programs and prepare status reports and tender documents.
- Participate in incident investigations, ensuring reports with root cause analysis and lessons learned are uploaded to the company database.
- Assist in the development and distribution of internal and external Health and Safety Alerts and Incident Management information.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Engage in internal audits for both office and vessel operations to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Participate in external audits and assist in organizing management reviews.
- Monitor fleet HSEQ statistics and customer satisfaction, and perform any other duties as required by the HSEQ Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in HSE related discipline or other relevant Marine discipline.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in HSE particularly in Marine / Shipping / Ship repair industry.
- Self motivated team player, while being able to work independently.
- Good knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes, incident investigation techniques and risk management.
- Qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
