Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an HSE Officer to manage health and safety regulations and improve compliance. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Environmental Safety and have at least 3 years of experience as a Fire Safety Manager. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, audits, and training programs for employees. This role offers a competitive salary and requires SCDF and MOM registrations.

Qualifications

• Must be SCDF registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and MOM registered WSHO.
• At least 3 years of experience as WSHO & FSM.
• Knowledge with HSE Management System (SS651 & ISO14001) and internal auditing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fire safety regulation/protection/prevention are complied with SCDF requirement.
• Develop, implement & review HSE management systems & supporting documentations.
• Plan & implement program for HSE inspection, audits & investigations to reduce HSE risk.
• Conduct HSE inspection, drills and exercises, WSH committee meetings.
• Conduct HSE programs and campaigns to increase employee awareness and knowledge.
• Act as the Secretary in planning activities and meetings for HSE Committee.
• Participate in incident investigations and assists in implementing recommendations made.
• Audit for compliance against permits, safe work practices, method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain & upkeep of Plant’s ERT equipment and PPE.
• Liaise with local authorities on HSE issues and in planning of inspections, audits, drills and exercises.
