Job description

Job Description:

• Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules
• Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies
• Coordinate WSH programme initiatives
• Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
• Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report
• Ensure project’s compliance with all statutory requirements at all times
• Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place

Job Requirement:

• Registered WSHO with minimum 5 years of working experience in a construction firm
• Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
• Able to speak mandarin as required to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
• A team player and able to work with all levels
