Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and follow up on preventive measures.
- Organize and conduct HSE training sessions, fire drills, and emergency preparedness exercises.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, permits, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Serve as the point of contact with external regulators and authorities for HSE matters.
Facility Management
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and security.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for office, warehouse, and other facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility services and ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, etc.) and implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
- Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Plan and manage office relocations, renovations, or facility improvement projects.
General & Administrative
- Manage facility-related budgets, cost control, and procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to management on HSE performance and facility improvement.
- Support business continuity planning and crisis management activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
- Certification in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or NEBOSH/ISO 45001 preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in HSE and facility management, ideally in logistics, manufacturing, or marine/offshore.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk management, and environmental practices.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and facility maintenance.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility/HSE management systems.
