Job Summary
The HSE Safety Coordinator is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies to create a hazard-free work environment. They conduct inspections, train staff, investigate incidents, and liaise with to ensure adherence to Singapore's WSH regulations. The role often involves site-based work, with a focus on proactive risk management in dynamic settings like construction sites or shipyards.
Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field preferred.
Certifications: Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) (Level B) - WSH Coordinator Refresher Certificate - Other relevant MOM-approved courses (e.g., Risk Management, Occupational First Aid).
Experience: 3 years in HSE/safety coordination, preferably in process and/or pharmaceutical industries.
Skills: Strong knowledge of WSH Act and MOM regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and liaison - Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving - Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., for reporting) - Ability to work in fast-paced, site environments (may require shift work or own transport).
