Job summary

  • Salary: Basic up to $5500 + VB
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Hour)
  • Location: Boon Lay (Company transport pick up at Jurong East - Two way)
Job Scope
  • Lead the bizSAFE Programme and QEHS certification processes, and support Safety Case implementation for MHI premises
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements, conduct internal QEHS audits, and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions
  • Participate in and coordinate EHS-related audits, such as Safety Audits for Managing Hazardous Substances, CERT audits, and customer audits
  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to ensure compliance and identify potential hazards
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting minutes for safety-related meetings, including WSH Committee and EHS reviews
  • Lead and conduct accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Organize and deliver EHS trainings, briefings, toolbox meetings, and conduct safety orientations for new employees
  • Prepare materials and participate in customer safety promotion activities
  • Assist the operations department in hazard identification and risk assessment, and proactively eliminate or mitigate risks
  • Develop and distribute safety-related posters, videos, and awareness materials for operational teams
  • Review, update, and renew the Transport Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
  • Conduct emergency response trainings, tabletop exercises, and evacuation drills
  • Stay updated with and ensure compliance with all statutory safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Support the operations team in monitoring contractors’ work activities and evaluating their EHS performance
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the logistics industry
  • MOM-registered Safety Officer certification is required
  • Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
