Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the strategic expansion of our B2B fresh produce operations in Singapore. This role requires deep business acumen, cross-border HR expertise, and a strong ability to drive organizational effectiveness through talent and compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Alignment

  • Partner closely with the full B2B fresh produce business chain in Singapore, including key account management, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and import/export compliance.
  • Translate business strategies into actionable HR initiatives such as organizational design, workforce planning, and productivity enhancement.
  • Enable sustainable business growth and market penetration through tailored HR solutions.

2. End-to-End Talent Management

  • Lead recruitment and workforce planning for critical roles (e.g., key account managers, supply chain operators, compliance specialists).
  • Build a robust talent pipeline aligned with local market dynamics and business needs, emphasizing industry experience, client relationships, and cross-border operational capabilities.
  • Develop and implement talent retention frameworks and differentiated incentive programs to reduce attrition in key positions.

3. Organizational Effectiveness

  • Design and optimize compensation and performance management systems in line with business cadence.
  • Implement dual-track OKR/KPI evaluation models to ensure alignment between performance metrics and strategic goals (e.g., client acquisition, order fulfillment, compliance rates).
  • Leverage HR analytics (e.g., turnover, productivity, recruitment cycle) to generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.

4. Compliance and Employee Relations

  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore’s labor laws and employment standards.
  • Oversee employment contracts, statutory contributions, and tax coordination.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, exits) and foster a positive employee relations environment, resolving disputes promptly and equitably.

5. Culture and Team Development

  • Promote Foodmax’s core values while integrating local cultural nuances.
  • Design and execute cross-cultural engagement initiatives to strengthen collaboration between China and local teams.
  • Enhance team cohesion and sense of belonging to support high-performance collaboration.

6. HR Project Execution

  • Support regional and headquarters initiatives including talent pipeline development, high-potential employee programs, and organizational transformation.
  • Collaborate across HR functions (recruitment, training, compensation) to ensure project outcomes are aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of HRBP experience, preferably within cross-border enterprises, fresh produce/FMCG sectors, or B2B business lines.
  • Prior HR experience in Singapore is highly desirable, including familiarity with local recruitment channels, labor laws, and cultural integration practices.
