Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong HR generalist background, prior experience working with Chinese companies and working within a cross-cultural environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting HR operations, talent management, and employee engagement to ensure alignment with Goertek's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide strategic HR support.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including payroll, mobility, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee relations.
  • Support talent development initiatives and implement HR programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and corporate HR standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between local teams and headquarters in China to ensure alignment on HR practices and corporate culture.
  • Provide HR analytics and reporting to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Lead or support HR projects such as organizational restructuring, compensation review, and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with local work pass rules, regulations and application processes.
  • Strong understanding of local labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills, both written and verbal for communication with Chinese stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and detail‑oriented, with a collaborative mindset.
