A leading international entertainment company seeks an HR Project Manager to lead and support complex HR initiatives across APAC. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of HR project management experience, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Job Summary

Role Summary: As HR Project Manager, you will lead or be part of a team supporting complex, high-impact HR initiatives across APAC and contribute to APAC and global transformation efforts. You will support APAC HR VP and partner with the APAC HRLT to drive strategic programs that enhance operational effectiveness, employee experience, and enterprise alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and/ or support delivery of regional and global HR programs aligned with APAC HRLT priorities and enterprise goals.
  • Translate business needs into structured project plans, ensuring clear outcomes, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Lead and/or support cross-functional execution across HR, Finance, Legal, and Technology, managing dependencies and driving accountability.
  • Monitor and report on program health, including dashboards, milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Champion process optimization, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Support APAC HRVP for relevant APAC consolidation, reporting and project mgt. needs

Examples of projects and bodies of work for this role:

  • Leading cross-regional HR program management efforts, including project intake, operational enablement across APAC markets, tracking progress and deliverables plus ensuring alignment with global standards and balancing local nuances.
  • Partnering with regional stakeholders to support enterprise-wide or APAC-wide initiatives in areas such as workforce planning, headcount mgt., talent program and HR Technology roll-outs
  • Supporting organizational transitions through planning and execution for large-scale changes, including communication planning and tracking across multiple APAC countries.
  • Contributing to the design and rollout of recognition, mentoring, and career development programs that enhance employee engagement and mobility.
  • Engaging in strategic HR efforts involving compensation analysis, headcount planning, and digital experience enhancements to improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain detailed project documentation, including charters, roadmaps, trackers and executive updates.
  • Conduct discovery and analysis to define scope, assess feasibility, and develop business cases.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption and sustainability.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, tailoring messaging for executive, regional, and functional audiences.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR project management, transformation, or enterprise program delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead regional initiatives with global alignment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills.
  • Experience working across geographies and virtual teams.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and influence through data and storytelling.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting HRLT or enterprise-wide HR programs.
  • Background in change management, Lean Six Sigma, or process improvement.
  • Multi-country project scope or international experience.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Familiarity with Disney’s businesses and culture.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
