The Challenges
Performance Management
Support the Assistant Director in the management and roll‑out of the annual performance exercise for National University Hospital covering all activities related to the performance management cycle: goal‑setting, mid‑year performance review, year‑end performance review, promotion, management of appeal cases, etc.
- Support the preparation, analysis and reports detailing the preliminary ratings and promotion recommendations.
- Plan and facilitate pre‑moderation and main moderation sessions with senior management.
- Partner with Centre of Excellence and HR Business Partners in ensuring timely submission of performance appraisal ratings.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication during the entire performance appraisal cycle.
Employee Engagement
Support the Assistant Director in the management and implementation of the employee engagement initiatives including Employee Engagement Survey and related follow‑up actions.
- Coordinate and support end‑to‑end administration of the Employee Engagement Survey, including survey preparation, communication and post‑survey activities.
- Partner internal stakeholders and HRBPs to analyse survey results, identify key themes and areas of improvement, and prepare reports and presentations of action plans.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities or pulse surveys.
Risk and Governance
Support the Assistant Director in the roll‑out and completeness of the annual conflict of interest exercise and annual compliance leave exercise.
- Support the management of Conflict of Interest Declaration exercise including providing guidance and advice to staff on any clarification pertaining to the Conflict of Interest. Track and ensure completeness of Conflict of Interest Declaration, review and elevate potential conflict for review.
- Support and ensure staff who need to go on Compliance Leave adhere to the policy.
- Undertake any other projects as assigned.
The Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a recognized university, post‑graduate qualification in HR Management will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years in Human Resource function.
- Positive work attitude, can‑do spirit, strong follow‑up, and analytical skills. Team player.
- Strong project management skills, organized, meticulous, pro‑active, bold, have a sense of urgency, result‑oriented and people‑orientated.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate and driven in delivering outcomes through close collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Good personal values and strong professional ethics.
- Knowledgeable in MS Office especially MS Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge in Canva and other similar tools will be an advantage.
