What the role is:

You develop, review and promulgate manpower policies and guidelines to attract, recruit, manage, and retain quality people in the organisation.

What you will be working on:
  • Conduct research and analyse data and trends related to manpower policies
  • Consult stakeholders and propose recommendations for management's decision
  • Communicate and implement manpower policies
  • Evaluate deviation requests from policy guidelines
  • Provide guidance and advice to HR practitioners on policy application
  • Undertake projects to support the formulation and review of manpower policies in MINDEF/SAFChallenge(s)
  • Working in a high-tempo and dynamic environment
  • Staying well-versed in MINDEF/SAF manpower policies, processes and regulations
  • Maintaining keen awareness of organisational developments, key initiatives, industry-wide trends and best market practices
What we are looking for:
  • At least 2 years of work experience in human resource is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, statistical programmes) (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
