Job description
Role Summary

Delton Marine is looking for a visionary and hands-on HR Leader to lead our organizational transformation. You will be the architect of our company culture, the strategist behind our talent acquisition, and the guardian of our organizational excellence. Your goal is to transform HR from an administrative function into a strategic engine that fuels our growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly manage the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, probation management, performance reviews, and exit formalities.
  • Act as the primary administrator for all MOM portal transactions, including the application, renewal, and cancellation of Work Passes, ensuring full compliance with COMPASS and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Execute day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining digital employee files, managing leave records, and administering staff benefits/claims.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and the Employee Handbook to stay aligned with the latest Employment Act amendments and TAFEP guidelines.
  • Review and create clear workflows for the entire employee lifecycle—from offer letters to exit interviews.
  • Build a performance management system that moves beyond "check-the-box" reviews, focusing on KPIs that drive business results and individual growth.
  • Lead company-wide capability building by identifying gaps and sourcing multi-disciplinary training to drive total workforce excellence.
  • Lead the development of SOPs and oversee ISO renewal audits and Internal Audits, ensuring HR operations meet both international standards and local maritime regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all staff inquiries, resolving grievances and coaching managers on people issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5–8 years in HR, with a proven track record of managing the full spectrum of HR functions in a lean team environment.
  • Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, TAFEP guidelines, and CPF statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and payroll systems, with the ability to leverage technology to automate manual HR processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the "soft power" to advise senior management while remaining approachable to employees at all levels.
  • A proactive, "roll-up-your-sleeves" mindset with the ability to pivot quickly between high-level strategic work and daily tactical execution.
  • Open to appointing at a Senior level for candidates with extensive HR experience.
