- Develop and implement manpower plans to support production and business needs.
- Manage recruitment for engineers, technicians, operators, and support staff.
- Build partnerships with technical institutes, trade schools, and recruitment agencies.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation programs.
Industrial Relations & Labor Management
- Manage employee relations and maintain strong communication with unions and worker representatives (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and government regulations.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs for skilled and unskilled workers.
- Implement technical, safety, and soft-skill training programs.
- Develop career progression paths and succession planning.
Performance Management
- Oversee performance appraisal systems and link them with rewards and productivity.
- Work with department heads to set KPIs and monitor employee performance.
- Recommend promotions, transfers, or corrective actions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Develop fair wage structures aligned with industry standards.
- Manage payroll, overtime, and shift allowance policies.
- Oversee employee benefits such as insurance, medical coverage, and retirement schemes.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Collaborate with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) teams to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and relevant authorities.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Organize employee welfare programs, team-building, and recognition activities.
- Encourage continuous improvement and worker participation.
HR Policy & Administration
- Develop and update HR policies in line with organizational needs and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure smooth HR operations across shifts and multiple production sites.
