Job summary

A local food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage employee records, handle compliance with MOM regulations, support recruitment, and ensure effective payroll administration. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge of multiple languages is advantageous.

Qualifications

We are a homegrown manufacturer of ice cream and gelato, soft-serve premixes, and ready-to-eat bakery solutions. These are offered under our brands, Oishi and Artisertz, or as OEM products. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work Pass Management: Handle the application, renewal, and cancellation of Work Passes (WP), S Passes (SP), and Employment Passes (EP) in compliance with MOM (Ministry of Manpower) regulations. Monitor and ensure timely updates for work pass expirations, quotas, and renewals.
    Liaise with MOM for any clarifications or issues related to work pass applications and compliance.
  2. Employee Records &: Maintain accurate records of employee details, including passport information, work pass details, and employment contracts. Ensure compliance with PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) for all employee data.
  3. Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment by screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing pre-employment checks. Facilitate onboarding processes for foreign employees, including applying for relevant passes and assisting with relocation logistics.
  4. Compliance & HR Policies: Ensure company policies align with Singapore labor laws, CPF regulations, and MOM guidelines. Assist in audits and provide documentation as required by government authorities.
  5. Payroll Administration: Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in CPF contributions and work pass levy deductions. Manage payroll-related queries and ensure compliance with IRAS regulations for annual reporting.
  6. General HR Management: Draft and issue HR-related letters, including employment certifications, extension requests, and disciplinary notices. Provide support for internal HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5 + years of HR or personnel administration experience.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of MOM regulations, work pass requirements, and employment laws in Singapore. Familiarity with CPF, IRAS, and PDPA compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) is an advantage for handling diverse workforces.
