Position: HR Manager

Salary: $6,500 - $7,200

Working Days: 5-day work week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources operations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of Singapore employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all areas of HR management including recruitment, succession planning, performance appraisals, compensation & benefits, discipline, coaching, and grievance handling.
  2. Provide leadership to the HR team in managing daily operations and resolving HR-related issues.
  3. Partner with department heads to understand manpower needs, provide HR advisory, and align HR strategies with business goals.
  4. Develop and implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement, strengthen workplace culture, and improve retention.
  5. Stay updated on Singapore employment legislation and explore relevant government schemes, grants, and training programs.
  6. Lead employee engagement surveys and translate results into actionable improvement plans.
  7. Conduct market benchmarking for salaries and benefits, and manage required government survey submissions.
  8. Support management in industrial relations matters, including union liaison and disciplinary actions when required.
  9. Manage HR-related contracts, such as medical insurance and service agreements, ensuring they remain current and competitive.
  10. Undertake other HR-related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the HR department.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of HR management experience in the hospitality industry in Singapore.
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Labour Laws and MOM regulations.
  • Able to motivate, influence, and build rapport across all levels of the organisation.
