Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from reviewing job descriptions and posting roles to screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selecting candidates, and planning staffing needs.
  • Handle high-volume recruitment (50-100 hires monthly, depending on events).
  • Create and implement effective recruitment strategies while exploring new channels to build a strong talent pool.
  • Participate in career fairs, store visits, and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Oversee work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Handle new hire onboarding, including preparing employment contracts, requisitioning IT equipment, conducting orientation, and registering clock-in accounts.
  • Cultivate relationships with schools to manage internship and traineeship programs.
  • Oversee the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
  • Manage training registrations and handle statutory surveys.
  • Maintain and update employee records in Prosoft and government portals.
  • Prepare weekly manpower reports, budget reports, and any other ad-hoc reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Employment Act and labor laws in Singapore.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
