Job summary

A local education centre in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented HR & Finance Executive. In this role, you will support daily human resource operations, including end-to-end recruitment and maintaining employee records. You will also assist in finance operations such as invoicing and expense tracking. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a related field and 1–3 years of experience. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential.

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible HR & Finance Executive to support our daily human resource and finance operations. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment supporting both our people and business functions.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resource (HR) Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end recruitment process: posting job ads, screening candidates, arranging interviews and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records (attendance, leave, and personnel files).
  • Assist in preparing HR letters (employment, confirmation, etc.) and updating HR policies when required.
  • Coordinate staff training, performance appraisal schedules and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure HR compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
  • Handle general HR administrative tasks and correspondence.
Finance Responsibilities
  • Support daily finance operations such as invoicing, payment processing and expense tracking.
  • Assist in managing petty cash and ensuring timely submission of claims and reimbursements.
  • Prepare simple financial reports, data entry for accounting records and bank reconciliation.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers on billing or payment matters.
  • Support month-end closing activities and audit preparation.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial information.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR Management or related field.
  • 1–3 years of working experience in HR and/or finance functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team player.
