A leading education provider in Singapore is seeking a Recruitment Executive to manage the full recruiting lifecycle and ensure effective hiring processes. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, conducting staff orientations, and supporting HR initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in HR and 1-2 years of recruitment experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a results-oriented mindset are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
The Executive for recruitment team analyses various approaches to identify potential candidates and ensures an engaging and optimal experience for employees. He/She conducts background checks, negotiates pay packages and presents employment offers to selected candidates. He/She delivers orientation sessions for new hires. He/She conducts exit interviews, employees engagement session, analyses data collected and proposes suggestions to enhance employees' engagement levels and retention rate. He/She supports the management of workplace issue and routine grievances raised and proposes resolutions.
Works closely with stakeholders, Principals and Cluster Managers, to understand and validate the hiring needs for each position and meets hiring goals and expectations
Builds and maintains relationships with applicants, active and passive, as database resource for available positions
Manages the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to retention
Coordinates and liaises with employment agencies on hiring advertorials or placement of advertisements
Provides administrative and logistics support for all recruitment initiatives, including career fairs
Conducts staff orientation programmes for new employees
Attends to employees’ grievances, complaints and queries and provides necessary guidance
Administers and monitors work pass applications, renewals and cancellations
Advises and monitors all pre-employment medical check-ups for new hires
Conducts exit interviews and works towards retaining good employees
Ensures proper and up to date system records of all employees including registry of new employees and keeping close track of new employees’ probationary period
Liaises with MOM and employment agencies on staff or work pass matters
Stays active with current with job boards, social networks and platforms to find talent
Manages interns and practicum students
Supports to implement innovative recruiting strategies
Supports in achieving HR KPIs
Undertakes any other tasks assigned
Education: Minimum Diploma in HR or equivalent qualification/experience.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR or recruitment.
Mindset: Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive for achieving targets, plus high adaptability to changes!
