Qualifications

  • Able to interact confidently with business units and external parties.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Develop, review, and implement WSH policies, procedures, and safe work practices in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety‑related training and awareness programmes to ensure employees are competent in safety practices.
  • Monitor, investigate, and report workplace incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, ensuring prompt corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, permits, and documentation to demonstrate compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate with relevant business units to address safety concerns, identify hazards, and support initiatives to improve workplace health and safety.
  • Oversee facilities and safety compliance matters, including car park management.
  • Support safety‑related campaigns, events, and initiatives that promote employee well‑being and continuous improvement.
  • Work with the HR team to integrate safety standards into broader HR policies and practices.
  • Support HR audits, compliance reporting, and documentation related to safety and employee welfare.
  • Assist in managing workplace health initiatives such as wellness programmes, ergonomic assessments, and injury management.
  • Contribute to employee relations matters involving safety breaches or disciplinary follow‑up linked to safety violations.
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager to support the organisation’s WSH obligations.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven HR Executive (Health & Safety) to join our HR team. This role blends human resource support with workplace safety and health (WSH) responsibilities, ensuring that our people, policies, and practices align with both organisational standards and regulatory requirements.

As part of the HR function, you will take ownership of workplace health and safety initiatives, drive compliance, and promote a culture of care and accountability across the company. This is a hands‑on role that requires close collaboration with operations teams, management, and external regulators to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment.
