Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee records in both local and Group HRIS systems.
- Administer work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor attendance records, ensure data accuracy, and handle monthly payroll processing for the worker category.
- Collaborate with the line manager to develop the annual training budget and plan; organize, coordinate, and track training programs, records, and certifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee matters, fostering open communication, resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and enforcing company policies to maintain a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including leave, medical benefits, insurance, accommodation, airfare, and incentive schemes.
- Prepare and submit statutory HR reports and government surveys accurately and within deadlines.
- Review and enhance HR policies and SOPs to ensure alignment with current legislation and industry best practices.
- Support effective coordination and communication between headquarters and subsidiaries to ensure alignment on HR matters.
Requirements
- Min Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
- Hands-on experience in work pass administration and payroll processing for workers.
- Solid understanding of Singapore employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Infotech HRIS, with strong system operation and data management skills, will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders at headquarters.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, and able to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
