Job summary

A leading food service company in Singapore is seeking a Human Resource Executive to manage HR functions including recruitment, performance management, and employee development. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the F&B or retail industry, and a strong understanding of compliance and HR practices. Duties include overseeing HR operations, assisting in payroll processing, and implementing HR initiatives to enhance productivity and company culture.

Job description

The Human Resource Executive provides HR administrative functions in the area of recruitment, personnel and performance management, social welfare, learning and development as well as updating and maintenance of HR records. This is a key member of the department and plays an instrumental role in many HR functions, and take the lead in various HR projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the HR Manager to oversee the HR Department and manage the full spectrum of HR functions
  • Assist in payroll related matters
  • Work with the HR Manager to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the Company and encourage efficient, productive, and beneficial work from employees
  • Administer the recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, grievance, and off-boarding processes accordingly
  • Coordinate with all departments on hiring plans, resignations, confirmations, and all HR related
  • Organize, maintain, and update employee HRIS information as needed and to ensure the accuracy of data
  • Monitor employee development progress and stay abreast of Company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and healthy
  • Responsible for upholding of HR practices and policies to ensure compliance with legislation and adherence to all pertinent labor laws
  • Administer MOM work pass application, renewal, cancellation and other related matters
  • Assist the HR Manager in performance management and appraisal activities
  • Identify, propose, and implement any necessary initiatives to help boost employee productivity (better assessment process, incentive programs, employee activities, employee development, employee engagement etc …)
  • Participation in learning and development programs, special projects or ad hoc duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma/Degree in HRM or related field
  • Min 3 – 5 years’ experience in human resource function in a similar capacity, preferably in F&B / Retail industry
  • Good knowledge of the Employment Act and practices
  • Independent, proactive, resourceful and strong team player with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office, TMS
