Job summary
A maritime services company based in Singapore is looking for an HR professional to oversee recruitment processes, manage staff onboarding, and coordinate training and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include handling work pass applications and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process recruitment through placement of recruitment ads for all job portals.
- Shortlisting & coordinating interviews with candidates.
- Responsible for following-up with required documents for contract purposes.
- Manage employee onboarding process paperwork.
- New staff onboarding orientation / exit interview.
- Create new employee P-file folder & upload employee personal documents.
- Update IMPL HR File for all employee including current or left.
- Process and monitor work pass applications, renewals and cancellations of foreign employee.
- Apply foreign worker levy waiver with MOM.
- Claim submission for NS portal & SFEC portal.
- Upload all HR admin documents to employee p-file folder.
- Ad hoc duties.
- Apply long term pass for Jurong Port office and Operation staff.
- Terminate long term pass for resignee.
- Deal with JP regarding staff JP Pass Issue.
- Arrange training course for JP office.
- Update & maintain training records for JP office and Operation staff.
- Create new ops attendance sheet for JP office.
- Verify monthly attendance records for JP office.
- General admin duties for JP office.
- Apply or renew PSA pass for all drivers.
- Ensure penalty for all drivers settled (PSA, KD, JP).
- Process Staff Confirmation letter and conduct feedback form during staff confirmation.
- Liaise with insurance company on local and foreign employee insurance matters.
- Taking meeting minutes for Monthly Junior Casting meeting.
- Apply Grant for staff on course.
HR Role
