About the Role

The Human Resource Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, assisting with day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, employee records, payroll coordination, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding coordination

  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files

  • Support payroll preparation, attendance tracking, and leave management

  • Assist with work pass applications, renewals, and related documentation (if applicable)

  • Handle employee enquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures

  • Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and internal communications

  • Coordinate training programs, staff meetings, and HR-related events

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company regulations

  • Perform general administrative duties and other HR tasks as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • At least 1 year of relevant HR or administrative experience (preferred)

  • Familiarity with HR processes, payroll systems, and employment regulations

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems

  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion
