Job Role Description
The Human Resource (HR) and Admin Executive plays a key role in ensuring the seamless operations of the Company by executing important HR and administration functions independently and professionally. As a HR Practitioner, you shall be exposed to the full spectrum of human resource functions, including Payroll Administration, Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management and Employee Engagement. You will work closely with both management and employees to ensure HR operations run efficiently and in accordance with statutory requirements. The role requires a professional who demonstrates discretion, integrity, and awareness of the sensitivity of HR-related matters.
In this role, your scope will cover:
1. Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Administer monthly payroll and staff claims in accordance with payroll processing timelines.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements (e.g., CPF, IRAS, Employment Act).
- Manage employee leave, welfare benefits, and other HR-related entitlements.
2. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Assist in implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain suitable talent.
3. Manpower Administration & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage Work Pass applications, renewals, IR21 tax clearance and related administrative matters.
- Liaise with government authorities such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
4. Learning and Development
- Coordinate training and development programmes, including course registration with relevant authorities like BCA for migrant workers Coretrade training, attendance tracking, and training records management.
- Support the execution of staff development initiatives to enhance employee capability and engagement.
5. HR Operations and Projects
- Maintain HR documentation, employee files, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality, and in full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support HR initiatives, policy rollouts, and process improvement efforts.
- Participate in HR-related projects to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
6. General Administration
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Assist with coordination of company events, staff activities, and corporate communications.
To perform in this role, you should:
- Preferably have at least a Diploma in HRM.
- Be well-versed in all MS Office applications. Being savvy in digital marketing and branding for talent attraction is an advantage.
- Be organised and meticulous in work.
- Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Be self-motivated, willing to learn and pro-active.
- Be a positive team player who is willing to go the extra mile.
- Be able to multi-task in a lean structure.
- Have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
