Job summary

A leading HR solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an HR Administrator to support their FPSO design project team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in the oil & gas sector, and strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities include recruitment coordination, maintaining employee records, supporting payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in oil & gas or large-scale engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with FPSO or offshore project environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities for design and engineering roles.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and project-specific HR databases.
  • Support payroll processing for project staff.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company HR policies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from project team members.
  • Liaise with project managers and external agencies for HR-related matters.

Role Purpose

Provide comprehensive HR administrative support for the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) design project team, ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance with company policies, and effective coordination between project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & OnboardingCoordinate recruitment activities for design and engineering roles.
    Manage onboarding processes, including documentation, induction schedules, and compliance checks.
  • HR AdministrationMaintain accurate employee records and project-specific HR databases.
    Prepare employment contracts, extensions, and termination documentation.
    Handle visa/work permit applications for expatriates and rotation staff.
  • Payroll & BenefitsSupport payroll processing for project staff.
    Administer benefits and allowances in line with project policies.
  • Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to local labor laws and company HR policies.
    Prepare HR reports for project management and client audits.
  • Employee RelationsAct as the first point of contact for HR queries from project team members.
    Support grievance handling and disciplinary processes when required.
  • CoordinationLiaise with project managers, department heads, and external agencies for HR-related matters.
    Assist in mobilization/demobilization planning for offshore and onshore staff.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in oil & gas or large-scale engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with FPSO or offshore project environments is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
