Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Human Resource professional to manage end-to-end recruitment processes, maintain HR records, oversee payroll, and support various administrative duties including assisting the CEO. The role requires thorough attention to details in onboarding, training coordination, and responding to employee queries. An ideal candidate should have a proactive approach to managing comprehensive HR functions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process including posting job ads and screening applicants.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employment documents.
  • Maintain and update HR records and attendance.
  • Oversee payroll-related matters and submissions.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programmes.
  • Address employee queries related to HR concerns.
  • Attend to auditor queries and provide documentation.
Job description
Human Resource
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting and posting job advertisements, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, drafting salary proposals, and preparing appointment letters.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employment documents, work-pass applications/renewals, orientation for new hires, and managing exit clearance for departing staff.
  • Maintain and update HR records, including personnel files, staff data (joining/leaving, leave entitlements, benefits, work-pass status), attendance, timesheets, overtime and leave records.
  • Oversee payroll-related matters, including CPF submissions, IR8A, government-paid leave schemes, foreign worker levy waivers, and staff medical/insurance where applicable.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programmes.
  • Address employee queries related to medical benefits, leave entitlements, company group insurance, and other HR-related concerns.
  • Attend to auditor queries and provide supporting documentation for company audits.
Secretarial/ Administrative Duties
  • Support administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation, and clerical support across departments.
  • Assist with the team’s claims and/or reimbursements.
  • Post updates and news related to company projects on the intranet.
  • Provide support in procurement and documentation.
  • Provide secretarial support to the CEO, including arranging business itineraries, travel visas, accommodation and making appointments/ room bookings.
  • Coordinate, collate and compile information for use of analysis and management reporting, presentations.
  • Prepare meeting documents for review to ensure that the CEO is well prepared for the meeting, spreadsheets, databases etc. Handle other adhoc matters as required.
