🧹 Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor (Hotel)

📍 Reports To: Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area cleaning, and laundry services.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Assign tasks to housekeeping staff and follow up on completion.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high service standards.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, or special requirements promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with hotel safety standards.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, and grooming.
- Coordinate with front office and maintenance departments for room readiness and repairs.
- Prepare daily reports on room status, occupancy, and staff productivity.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and scheduling.
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations.
Typical Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality diploma preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays).
