A local service provider is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Operations Executive to manage on-site housekeeping operations at a hostel environment at NUS. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in housekeeping, strong leadership skills, and be digitally proficient. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute periodic and daily cleaning schedules.
  • Roster housekeeping and turnover of rooms during breaks.
  • Train housekeeping team for room turnover.
  • Oversee overall operations onsite and report to management.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and competent Housekeeping Operations Executive (OE) to be stationed on-site at a hostel in NUS.

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 12pm Saturdays

Qualifications
  1. Minimally 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel
  2. Minimally 1 year of experience in managing commercial cleaning in a building
  3. Digitally proficient i.e. Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  4. A strong and responsible leader who leads by example with a positive outlook
  5. Keen sense of safety awareness and sensitivity management in a student hostel environment
  6. Strong ability to plan ahead and allocate duties efficiently
Responsibilities
  1. Preparing and ensure execution of periodic schedules and daily cleaning schedules
  2. Roster for housekeeping and turnover of rooms during vacation and semester breaks
  3. Training of housekeeping team for room turnover
  4. Training of cleaning team for periodic cleaning work i.e. scrubbing, high pressure jet washing, polishing, descaling of toilets etc
  5. Oversee overall operations onsite and report to Hostel Management / FM team
  6. Maintaining morale of onsite team
  7. Oversee and uphold safety regulations onsite
  8. Oversee and uphold environmental regulations onsite
  9. Manage registration of new cleaners on infotech attendance system
