We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Household School Teacher to provide personalized educational support and development for an elementary school going child in a home setting. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment while collaborating with parents to support academic growth and personal development.
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to the child’s learning needs and interests.
Teach core subjects (e.g., English, Mandarin, Mathematics, Science, etc.) and supplementary topics as needed.
Foster critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional growth through interactive and age-appropriate activities.
Track academic progress and provide regular updates and reports to parents.
Incorporate extracurricular activities, such as arts, music, or physical education, into daily routines.
Ensure a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
Assist with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
Coordinate with tutors, therapists, or external instructors when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (Master’s preferred) / NIE-trained candidates will be advantageous.
Minimum 3 years teaching experience, ideally in a home or small-group setting.
Strong knowledge of the curriculum relevant to the child’s grade level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, adaptable, and creative in teaching approach.
Ability to manage schedules, plan activities, and maintain organization.
