Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands‑on and reliable Technician to join our hotel team. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel's facilities and equipment, ensuring the property is always in excellent working condition to support a safe and comfortable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair on electrical, plumbing, air‑conditioning, mechanical, and carpentry works.
  • Respond to guest room and public area maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Carry out daily checks on equipment such as water pumps, lighting, elevators, and HVAC systems.
  • Monitor utilities and perform routine inspections of the property and equipment to identify potential problems.
  • Assist in room maintenance, including minor painting, fixture repair, and furniture maintenance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or servicing.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel operating procedures.
  • Be on‑call for emergency maintenance issues when required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NITEC or equivalent certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services.
  • At least 1 years of relevant experience in a hotel or commercial building environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency in English and ability to write simple reports.
  • Physically fit and willing to perform hands‑on repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Able to work shifts (no overnight shifts), weekends, and public holidays as scheduled.
