Job summary

Plaza Premium Lounge in Singapore is seeking a kitchen team member to be responsible for food preparation, cooking and general duties in the kitchen, ensuring high quality products are served to guests at all times.

You will carry out stocktaking and assist in stock control of food and beverage, check buffet presentation, and strive to improve customer and team satisfaction while contributing to the financial performance of the operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years' relevant experience, preferably in hotel industry.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation in kitchen and storage areas.
• Polite, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Be Responsible for food preparation, cooking and general duties in the kitchen.
• Ensure a consistent, high quality food products are served to guests at all times.
• Carry out stocktaking in the kitchen regularly and assist in stock control of food and beverage.
• To check regularly the buffet counter to ensure the food prepared are well presented and sufficient.
• Strive to continually improve customer and team satisfaction.
• Maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility.
