QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

Job Descriptions:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, and assessments in assigned subjects.
  • Develop and update course materials in line with curriculum standards.
  • Provide academic support and consultation to students.
  • Prepare assessment papers and marking of the scripts
Academic Operations
  • Assist in planning and coordinating academic timetables and schedules.
  • Support programme administration including student records, attendance, and grading.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth academic delivery.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for EduTrust certification and other regulatory audits.
  • Ensure academic policies and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Management & Coordination
  • Support the Head of Department in academic planning and reporting.
  • Coordinate with lecturers and administrative staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor classroom usage, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
Student & Staff Engagement
  • Promote a positive learning environment and uphold discipline.
  • Ensure students and staff adhere to classroom usage guidelines.
  • Participate in academic meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management/Logistics
  • At least 3 - 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • ACTA / ACLP / SDALT teaching qualification would be an added advantage
  • Strong passion for teaching
  • Ability to share industry experience.
  • Must be current with learning methods and strategies.
  • Must be student oriented. And enforce strict attendance requirements.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Have good organizing & planning skills, high work standards, and able to adapt to changes.
  • Able to problem solve, have high-stress tolerance & good decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with Edutrust Certification is an advantage.
