Job description
What you'll be doing
  • Ensure smooth monthly financial closing and compliance with statutory reporting requirements
  • Manage operational finance processes, including:
    • Purchase requisitions and orders
    • Fixed asset management: verification, tracking, and reporting of assets; guidance to asset custodians; monitor movements, disposals, and impairments
    • Operational expenditure oversight: review payables, accruals, and ensure accurate recording
  • Review and analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for management decisions
  • Assist in implementing new finance processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support audit and governance requirements, addressing issues promptly in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in ad hoc finance projects while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 1 – 5 years of relevant working experience in healthcare/ hospital finance operations
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel (advanced)/ VBA Macros/ PowerPoint/ Word
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and accuracy-focused
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Team player, adaptable to a dynamic healthcare environment
