Job summary

Singapore Island Country Club is seeking a seasoned Landscape Team Lead to manage landscape crews across our golf courses and clubhouse. You will oversee arboriculture assessments, planting plans, and budget control to deliver world‑class greens.

You will liaise with contractors, prepare tender documents, design improvement works, brief crews daily, ensure safety compliance, and monitor expenditures while driving continuous landscape improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in horticulture/landscape management.
• ISA certified arborist would be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of strong technical working knowledge in horticulture with hands‑on experience.

Job Functions & Summary:

Responsible to lead a team of landscape crews in the development, planning and maintenance of the landscapes within the golf courses and clubhouse.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• (1) Conduct arboriculture visual trees assessment.
• (2) Liaise and coordinate with arboriculture contractors to carry out the necessary works.
• (3) Conduct periodic landscape crew briefings.
• (4) Implement changes to the plants according to the landscape improvement plans.
• (5) Design improvement works and provide planting plan and bill of quantities.
• (6) Plan treatments for plants such as the application of insecticide and fertilizer.
• (7) Plan and control budgets and expenses.
• (8) Prepare tender documents and conduct tender interviews.
• (9) Assess and evaluate tender submissions.
• (10) Conduct daily inspection on landscaping maintenance and improvement works.
• (11) Ensure all work carried out are in accordance to the work place health safety requirements.
• (12) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

A recognized Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Horticulture / Landscape Management or related discipline. ISA certified Arborist would be advantageous. Minimum 5 years of strong technical working knowledge in horticulture with hands‑on experience.
