Job description

Job Purpose:

As a Horticulturist at GreenGarden, you will play a key role in supporting landscape operations while enhancing the beauty, sustainability, and ecological impact of our green spaces. You will combine technical plant knowledge with creative solutions to deliver high-quality, client-centric landscape outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee landscape maintenance and improvement activities at assigned sites, ensuring plant health, aesthetics, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on plant care, soil health, pest control, and sustainable horticultural practices to enhance visual and ecological quality.
  • Coordinate manpower and site logistics in collaboration with the Operations Manager, ensuring timely and resource-efficient execution.
  • Engage with clients and site stakeholders, attending meetings and addressing feedback to ensure satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
  • Train and guide gardening staff, including onboarding new hires and promoting learning in best horticultural practices.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or Environmental Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in horticulture or landscaping.
  • Strong knowledge of native plant species, sustainable landscaping methods, and urban greenery standards.
  • Comfortable with outdoor work and basic digital reporting tools
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (required for site mobility)
