Job summary

SCALENCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Technician to join their team in Singapore. This role involves outdoor work supporting environmental and public health initiatives, specifically in mosquito trapping and surveillance. The ideal candidate must possess a valid class 3 driving license for vehicle operations and be flexible to work on a Monday to Saturday roster.

This is a full-time position with working hours from either 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with days off on public holidays.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid (class 3) driving license to assist with vehicle operations and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Support trapping, surveillance, and species identification to monitor mosquito populations effectively.
• Coordinate vehicle logistics by managing maintenance, servicing, and routine checks of transport and release vans.
• Execute scheduled field releases of Verily‑reared mosquitoes at designated sites to support trial objectives.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with residents and communities near mosquito field trial locations.
• Perform general field operations and complete ad‑hoc tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
