Job summary

Empower Partners Singapore is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop and deploy deep learning models for high-frequency trading and market making. You will own data preparation, model research, training infrastructure and integration into a live C++ platform.

The role targets strong researchers with PhDs or industry experience in ML and quantitative finance, with hands-on Python, PyTorch/JAX, C++, and CUDA. PhD graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent evidence of research excellence.
• Strong track record in training DL models at scale.
• Experience with time-series or sequence modelling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and train deep learning models on order-book data.
• Develop sequence/time-series models for noisy financial data.
• Own data prep, features, training pipelines, experiments.
• Evaluate models with robust baselines and leakage controls.
• Improve training efficiency with GPUs and distributed training.
• Integrate models into latency-constrained C++ market system.
• Evaluate production behavior using live feedback.
