Job description

Hematology International Lead

Location: Singapore (International Region)

About GSK

GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. Our success absolutely depends on our people. We want GSK to be a place where people feel inspired, encouraged, and challenged to be the best they can be. A place where they can be themselves – feeling welcome, valued, and included – and where they can keep growing and look after their wellbeing. So, if you share our ambitions, join us at this exciting moment in our journey to get Ahead Together.

About The Role

As a Hematology International Lead, you will shape and execute the Hematology portfolio strategy across the International Region, aligning with global brand strategy while adapting to diverse local market needs. Operating as an individual contributor in a highly matrixed environment, you will protect and accelerate in-market commercial execution, strengthen patient access and build commercial excellence capabilities, ensuring near‑term Hematology delivery remains a core focus as the organization prepares for a significant wave of solid tumor launches.

Your role will be varied and will include:
  • Defining and driving the International Hematology strategy, aligned to global priorities and tailored to local dynamics.
  • Overseeing the Hematology portfolio to identify growth opportunities and sustain commercial momentum in launched markets.
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Government Affairs and Commercial teams to secure patient access and competitive advantage.
  • Embedding best practices, coaching LOCs and sub-regional teams, and ensuring consistent execution standards for Hematology across markets.
  • Representing the International Region at global Hematology product forums, providing strategic clarity, market insight and performance updates.
  • Anticipating portfolio evolution and competitive moves, recommending strategies to maintain GSK’s Hematology competitiveness.
  • Influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders across countries and sub-regions, leading without a direct line of authority.
  • Safeguarding sustained commercial focus and resourcing on Hematology in‑line deliverables while the broader organization builds readiness for the solid tumor pipeline.
Why you?

To be successful in this role, you will bring deep Hematology and commercial expertise, a strong track record of in‑market delivery, and the ability to influence across a complex, multicultural matrix.

You will need:
  • A university degree (Bachelor’s in Science, Medicine, Pharmacy or Business) as a minimum; a Master’s degree/MBA in Business, Pharmaceutical Management or related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Marketing, Sales, or Commercial roles in the pharmaceutical/biopharma industry.
  • Demonstrated in‑market (LOC) experience in brand strategy, launch/commercialisation and portfolio management across multiple markets; Hematology experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments across countries/regions, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to lead without direct authority.
  • High digital fluency and comfort with data‑driven insights, using real‑world evidence and digital enablement to drive value in complex, Tier 2 and 3 markets.
  • Fluency in English; a second regional language is desirable.

You will thrive in ambiguity, navigate diverse healthcare systems and cultural contexts, and be comfortable representing International Hematology strategy to senior stakeholders while balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term pipeline readiness.

Why join us?

At GSK, we challenge ourselves to get Ahead Together – to make a positive impact on global health, to grow our business, and to create an environment where people can thrive. By joining us, you will:

  • Play a pivotal role in protecting near‑term Hematology revenue and patient access in key growth markets.
  • Work across multiple regions and healthcare systems, influencing strategy and execution at global and regional levels.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive organization that reflects the communities we serve and values different perspectives.
