Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks a Heavy Vehicle Technician to perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy vehicles, covering mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

You will execute preventive maintenance and ensure high-quality repairs. You will record repair details, labour time, and parts in work orders, support warranty processes, and coordinate with the Team Leader to track progress while guiding junior technicians.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent automotive qualification is required.
• Experience in servicing and repairing heavy vehicles is beneficial.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs, overhaul, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on heavy vehicles (mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems).
• Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Record repair details, labour time, and recommended spare parts in work orders.
• Support warranty processes and ensure proper handling of parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader on repair progress and provide guidance to junior technicians when required.
• Ensure efficient use of tools and equipment while adhering to company policies and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

NITEC in Automotive Technology or NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2 Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field
