Qualifications

  • Strong interest in heat health and performance research.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
  • Experience with data collection involving human participants.
  • Ability to manage, clean, organise, and analyse research data.
  • Knowledge of statistical or data visualization tools such as SPSS, R, Python or Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine research ideas with investigators.
  • Conduct literature searches and identify research gaps.
  • Design and implement qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Perform laboratory-based climatic chamber studies and wet lab analyses.
  • Support field-based data collection in real-world settings.
  • Collect, manage, and analyse research data and datasets.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and project documentation.
  • Present findings to teams, collaborators and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to conference presentations and manuscripts for publication.
  • Collaborate across projects and assist with ethics processes.
