Job Summary

The Assistant Director will oversee the planning, design, and delivery of new, redeveloped, and upgraded healthcare facilities, including major additions and alterations. The role requires strategic oversight of infrastructure projects from concept to operationalisation, ensuring facilities meet clinical, operational, and community needs.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of new and upgraded polyclinic facilities, overseeing planning, design development, project management, and operational readiness
• Act as a mentor and people manager, supporting team members in their career and personal growth
• Drive the planning and design through to implementation, supported by multidisciplinary workstreams in design, infrastructure, manpower, IT, FFE, and commissioning, ensuring seamless operationalisation of new and upgraded facilities
• Ensure the timely achievement of key capacity and efficiency milestones, including design and budget approvals, procurement for clinic licensing and go‑live, and implementation of technological and operational innovations
• Engage internal stakeholders and workstreams to ensure layouts, workflows, and service models align with clinical and operational requirements
• Ensure standardisation and harmonisation of design principles, specifications, and guidelines across polyclinics, aligned with healthcare infrastructure standards
• Manage and coordinate with agencies, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects
• Lead the conceptualisation and implementation of innovative solutions to improve efficiency and patient experience

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree level in Engineering/ Architecture/ Building/ Project Management or related studies
• 9–11 years of working experience in large‑scale infrastructure or healthcare development projects, with proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project governance skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects within regulatory and budgetary frameworks
• Familiarity with healthcare infrastructure standards, design guidelines, and operational workflows will be advantageous
